How can I change the air filter in my air conditioner?

Window unit, it is in the front below the Blow Vents. Central Unit it is usually at the Unit where the Air Intake is, inside the house. Sometimes it under so you may have to get down and look. It may be gone too if it a Rent house/apartment. Remove and Replace with same size. They usually slide out or have clips that hold them, may need a flashlight for a Central Unit.

How can I change the air filter in my air conditioner?
It depends on the air conditioner that you have. Most window or wall units have a screen that you pull out and spray off with water. Central air units are screen filters in the cold air intake duct. You would have to unscrew the metal screen cover from the wall to access it.
Window units the plastic cover will come off take the filter off either spray it off or measure it and go to walmart and get another one. You can cut the filter to fit if they don't have one that is your size. Good Luck
look in the closet were the a/c is their sould be a flap or little door open it and pull it out put new one in. if there is no door look around your house for a big vent about 14 inch by 20 inch could be by the floor or in the celling it will swing open whien you move the two tabs keep looking it makes a big difference when you change the fillter every month if you have good size house you might have two filters. if you need more help email me at (talonmcl@yahoo.com)
