I cannot find my air filter for my airconditioner, its a luxaire I think its one that can go in the house in a lil closet with the unit outside, all the airconditioners I had they had a steel grate on the ceiling that you could open and change the air filter there but I dont have one and cant find the filter any ideas where it could be?

Go to the closet where the air handler (inside unit)is. There should be vents, open the vent, a filter might be there. If not, then look up under the air handler, you will see a filter that slides out, usually held in place by a clip.
