How do you change the cabin air filter on a Mitsubishi Outlander?

My friend has an Outlander that needs it cabin airfilter changed badly. Almost can stand having the AC running because of the stale smell that blows out.



How do you change this on the outlander. It's very easy on my Mazda6 and hope it's as simple for the Mitsu.

The instructions come with the filter in the box, usually behind the glove box, if you are not capable or feel uncomfortable, I am sure a shop can replace it for you for half hours labor.

it will show where it is located in owners manual,either outside by firewall or behindglovebox is where they usally are,or just go check a chilton or haynes manual
