How do I change an air filter on 1998 mondeo diesel?

Ford air filters are usually concealed inside a square/rectangle or similar shaped box. The top of the box is usually only held on by screws or clips that join the two halves together, to locate it look for said black box then follow the pipes if they lead to the engine inlet you got the correct box.
