How do i change the air filter on a 2008 Ford Focus?

I cant get the air filter box open.... the 3 latches come off but then i cant lift the stupid thing off.
How do i change the air filter on a 2008 Ford Focus?
I just checked one. I would shove a screwdriver between the halves of the airbox then twist..









Check for some more latches.



Then tug hard on it while looking around. You'll see what corner isn't moving - look around at that area to see what kind of snap / catch they put there. Then work around it.



Air boxes can be difficult to get apart.

not sure, but find what it is catching on.



On some cars, you also need to loosen and detach air ducts so the box can then swing open.
