Where is the air filter box of 2005 Mecedes CLK320 located?

I just purchased a 2005 Mecedes CLK320. I plan to change the air filter myself. But, when I open the hood, I can not locate the air filter box.

1, Where is it located?

2, When I order the air filter on-line, the filter is sold in pair. Are there two air filters used in CLK320?

im not sure, idk much about mercedes but have you taken off that big engine cover thing? if you take that off it might be under that.
