How do I change air filter on mark 4 golf 2001?

I cant even see how to remove the engine cover!

Undo the snap clips on the filter housing, then lift the cover off. The filter may have come of with the cover or it may still be in the filter housing, either way you need to pull it out and replace it with a new filter. Try to clean out the bottom for the filter housing with a vacuum cleaner as it will be full of dust and dirt.

On some Golfs and Polos the air filter is enclosed in the engine cover !
If its a golf cart .luck under the seat it sound be on the side but come to think about it i dont know if it as one because some are a elec.an some are gas?may be somebody els nows more about it sorry i wasent much help .
Remove the little black discs covering the screws the rest is Straight forward.
