How do you change push mower air filter?

is there any instructions or PDF's on the net on how to change a puch mower air filter.
How do you change push mower air filter?
Typically older push mowers used a 'steel housing' for their air cleaner assemblies - mounted with a simple slotted screw to the carb housing - on the right side of the mower ( looking from behind) . Unscrew the slotted screw and the cover comes off exposing the air filter element- usually a foam type - Remove and install replacement ( you can either take old one in or that and motor numbers - stamped into flywheel shroud on top of the motor) .

New ones use part of the plastic shroud or a plastic cover to hold the filter in - a paper type. Typically its held on by a single machine screw , the cover comes off and the filter cartridge is right there - looks like a small automotive filter. Replacement is similar, motor numbers usually on a data plate somewhere on the engine/mower - take old one in.

It should fit into a spot on the housing and reclose the door- tighten bolt.

Should be easy to figure out. A lot of them just use a little plastic clip to remove the cover and then you pull the foam, filter out and wash it, let it dry and reinstall it.

You can also go to the manufacturers web site and look up the directions there, they may have an exploded parts diagram that will show you how it is done.
All engines are different. It's usually very easy. Most engines the filter is on the outside of the engine, very accessible and in a silver case. Their most likely is one screw that you remove to take the cover off and the filter is inside.

Easy.

If it's more difficult then that try searching by the mower you have or if you know the engine manufacture and horse power search under that.
